Ralph started M & M Builders in 1987, after designing, building, owning and operating two restaurants in Maryland. He sold both restaurants to pursue his true passion – construction. Though the building blocks he played with as a young boy in Bethesda have turned into million-dollar homes, he is just as passionate about building now as he was as a child. With a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in Design and Graphics, Ralph loves designing and creating new and improved spaces for his clients. No detail is too small for him, a perfectionist who will oversee every project as if it was being done for his own family. Ralph is a member of the Montgomery County Builders Association. He has served as President and Vice-President of the organization and also currently serves as chair of the Builders Board for the Montgomery County Department of Consumer Protection. Ralph has been married to his wife Linda since August of 1974 and together they enjoy spending time with their son Ryan, daughter Melissa and their families.

Ryan joined the company in 2004, after obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and graduating with honors from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. As Ralph’s son, you could say construction is in Ryan’s blood. He grew up in a home his father built and over the years, learned the trade. Ryan always knew exactly what he wanted to do and exactly who could teach him. His attention to detail and scheduling is a huge asset to the company. Ryan has served as the President of the Montgomery County Builders Association. He also heads up M&M’s Tile Division, working with some of the Washington Metro area’s largest companies, as well as residential clients, to provide premium ceramic tile and stone installations for their projects. His goal is to keep your project running smoothly and efficiently, while making it all an enjoyable experience. Ryan has been married to his wife Katie since July of 2012 and they have two children, Lachlan John, born in 2015, and Kinley Grace, born in 2018. When not working, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, CrossFit training and mountain biking.
